In & Out

This painting portrays an assembly line of plastic bottles, emphasizing the role of corporate businesses as the primary contributors to environmental waste. From production to disposal, these bottles generate industrial pollution—first through manufacturing and then as single-use plastics discarded after brief use.

To obscure this larger issue, I imprinted the texture of a plastic straw onto plastic wrap, symbolizing how society fixates on minor aspects of the problem while overlooking the bigger issue at hand. This choice highlights how industrial waste remains hidden from public view, often left unquestioned and unchallenged.
